Deal Alert! Forever 21 Smocked Knit Maxi Dress

Stopped into Forever21 to check out their jewelry when I came across this deal. $10 for a simple summer maxi dress. Can you say easiest outfit ever?!? Throw it on with some wedges and bangles and head out the door!

American Eagle Jeggings

Finally. A pair of jeggings that look good on me!

I've been on the hunt for a complimenting pair of jeggings for some time now. I happened to browse the AE clearance page one day and found a few possibilities. Of course the website had none in my size, so I decided to head to my local AE. While there I tried on a few pairs- but the ones with the cargo pockets & white (aka see through) didn't really do it for me.

On the way out of the fitting rooms an associate asked me if I found what I was looking for. I told her that none of them fit me quite right and I was sad that the website had sold out of all of the "plain" looking jeggings. She asked me to wait one minute while she ran to the back room. And then she brought out these lovely jeggings...

I am in love. After wearing these for one day- I ran back to the store and bought a second pair. Right now they are $29.99 in the store but if you "like" American Eagle on Facebook, you can get a 20% off coupon good until 4/3/11- making the jeggings $23.99 (or something close to that). I will definitely be wearing mine all the way through to the fall.

LC Lauren Conrad for Kohls

I used to say that I hated Kohls.

But more recently I have found myself in there more and more. It all started with Flirt! Cosmetics. Then, it was trying to find cute dresses during their mega sales. Then I found myself venturing into their other clothing line selections. The latest thing to suck me in was the LC Lauren Conrad collection.

I clicked a link on twitter where someone had mentioned her newest collection. Thats when I came across this...

How friggin cute is this top?! Can we say Shabby Chic?! Oh, and its also from the collection called Shabby Chic . Anyways, I had to have this top. I ran over to my Kohls and luckily found the last large. I always get worried with these types of shirts fitting since I have a large chest- but trust me, this shirt has plenty of room to spare (in a good way!)

The next thing that caught my eye was this jacket...

Yeah, I had to try it on. And I HAD to get it.

The shirt was originally $40 and the jacket was $80. Each item was on sale for 40% off. The jacket was still a little steep for me, but c'mon LOOK AT IT ! As I was checking out the woman asked me if I was interested in signing up for a Kohls credit card. I asked her "how much more could I save?" When the woman replied 30% it was a done deal.

But the best part is, when I went back the next day to pay off the credit card- the sale went to 50% off, so they price matched it! The final price of the jacket was $29.39 and the shirt was $13.99. Can we say DEAL?!

Tucker for Target

WOW. Its been a whole month since my last post! I apologize, I just started student teaching and its taking up A LOT of my time! Anyways, now that I am student teaching, I need work appropriate clothing. So no more low cut shirts or leggings for me, its time for big girl clothing! lol. And mostly, I am on the hunt for dresses. Easy to slip on in the morning and run out the door! So when I heard that there was a new designer series coming to target with a ton of dresses in the mix, I HAD to check it out. And I'm glad I did!
I ended up picking up 2 of the same dress but in different patterns. I absolutely love the fit and they are perfect with or without stockings and a pair of boots!

and my fav...

I know the blue pattern is sold out online so run to your nearest target and see if they still have it! They retail for $39.99 and most stores seem to have limited quantities!
