The Scent Of Departure

How flipping awesome are these fragrances?! For $45 you can pick from 19 different scents that represent different destinations. No, the fragrances don't literally represent the smell of the destination, but... take NYC for example- "The Big Apple" has a strong apple scent. Get it?! I'm definitely going to pick one up...just not sure which one yet. Check out the elements of each fragrance here

Most Favorite Perfume EVER- Givenchy Hot Couture!

I've been a lazy blogger, but I'm back! With the new year I'd like to make my blog more of a "life" blog and not just beauty/fashion/etc. So expect more recipes, random photos of things I like and all things in between! Now onto the best smelling perfume eva...

Say hello to Givenchy's Hot Couture. On the left you will see the old bottle, and on the right, the new.

I fell in love with this perfume sophomore year of college when I smelt it on my roommate. Now, this was a big deal because I can't smell JACK. So when I can actually smell a perfume (and it smells good) its meant to be.  I got really sad when they discontinued this perfume... but when I found out they brought it back I HAD to have it. Well, more like wait until the holidays when my sister bought me Pink Sugar and I could exchange it to pay for PART of this big guys $85 price tag.

Anyways, I recommend you check it out while in Sephora. I don't think it's possible to not like this perfume.

What are some of your favorite STRONG perfumes?

Buying Perfume From eBay

I have been in love with Aquolina's Pink Sugar for some time now. Every time I'm in Ulta or Sephora I spray it all over myself and always end up loving the smell all day. The only problem is I hate spending so much money on perfume! Pink Sugar retails for $59 and there is no way I'd pay that.

So I went onto ebay and searched for it!

It wasn't as simple as click on the first one I see and buy it. It took a bit of "investigating" into seller's feedback to make sure they didn't scam anyone. After about 15 minutes of research- I found one! Of course it was a tester that wouldn't come in the right box or with a cap, but those are things I'm willing to live without.

My grand total? $26.95 (free shipping too!) It smells the same, looks the same (except for tester-not for sale written across the back) and I saved myself $32.05

Have you ever bought perfume off eBay?
