Toms Shoes

I've been on the hunt for a pair of Toms shoes for some time now. I could never decide which ones I wanted and every time I'd go into a store that sells them they would only seem to have about three options. So, while on a recent business trip to San Francisco, I came across a store that literally had every pair of Toms shoes in stock.



I was debating between a graffiti design and the burlap and I ultimately decided to go with the burlap. I am OH so happy with them! They are quite comfortable and I love that I can just slip them on and go! The nice thing about the burlap is that they will go with virtually anything. Well worth the $54. Annndddd a pair gets sent to a person in need. Double score!

Hunter Welly Boots

I'm not sure if you guys know this but we have been pounded with snow in the Northeast and snow is everywhere. So, while on a mini trip to NYC with my boyfriend we ran into a LOT of slush puddles on the street corners. My suede Steve Maddens didn't quite cut it and I became very jealous of all the girls walking around in their Hunter Welly Rain Boots.

So, I have decided that I NEED a pair. I already have a pair of rain boots that I picked up from TJ Maxx in college that are pink with makeup and jewelry all over them, but I feel like its time for a more classy pair of rain boots. Thats where these lovies come in...



Of all the colors I think I'm going to go with these metallic white ones because I feel like white could go with a lot and would really stand out. My fall back color is definitely black or winter green if I don't like this color, but I could totally see myself rocking the metallic white with the black inserts a.k.a. "welly socks".

OPI & Katy Perry

If you follow me on Twitter, you probably saw my tweet on Sunday about sitting outside of my Ulta waiting for it to open like a crazy woman so I could run in and grab the nail polishes in this collection! And I did. At 10:55 AM I got out of my car and stood in somewhat of a line in the freeeezing cold for nail polish.
And boy was it worth it!! I was scared at first though because this woman behind me ran in front of me and started grabbing like 5 of the shatter nail polishes. Luckily she didn't take them all so I was able to pick up these beauties...

I passed on Last Friday Night because it seemed like you would need a lot of layers to get a good pay off and The One That Got Away because it seemed too similar to other colors out there. Teenage Dream is the perfect girly glitter color. It just makes me happy seeing it on my nails!

I'm also really excited for Black Shatter. I can't wait to use it to spice up colors in my nail polish collection. I picked up Not Like The Movies because it looks like such a unique color. On my nails now is Teenage Dream & Black Shatter.

Overall, I was quite please with this collection! Did you pick up any of the Katy Perry OPI polishes?!

Bed Head Foxy Curls Shampoo

I wanted to love this shampoo. It smells amazing, lathers pretty well for being sulfate free and it was supposed to fight my frizz!! But sadly, it left my hair feeling greasy. I tried and tried again to love this shampoo, but time after time it disappointed. I have to point out that I was straightening my hair after every time I used this shampoo. It may actually be alright for my curly days. Still, greasy hair= not good. Try it if you'd like, but I'm going to give it a thumbs down.

Uh Oh! Bad Michael Kors Watch!

So I have literally owned this watch for 30 days and look what is happening already...


I paid over $200 for a watch and this is what I get?! The rose gold is already wearing off!! You better bet I was on the phone with the warranty company TODAY aka the day after I realized it. I told the person on the phone that even though the warranty doesn't cover the band, they HAD to do something! She agreed with me saying that this shouldn't start happening so quickly and said that I could send it in for them to replace the band.
I guess I'm happy. But I'm also scared this will just happen again. I'm pretty sure most rose gold watches are just plated-- so I may just have to be more careful.

OPI Katy Perry Collection

I have been dying for this collection to come out ever since I saw the ad in Cosmo magazine. I kept calling the beauty supplies and Ulta since the collection was supposed to be released the beginning of January but the stores either a) never heard of it or b) didn't know when they were getting them in. FINALLY Ulta tweeted that the collection would be in stores on January 23rd!

There are five different colors (from left to right)- Last Friday Night, Not Like The Movies, The One That Got Away, Teenage Dream & the ever so exciting Shatter Black Top Coat .
I'm pretty sure I want them all. I may be able to pass on Last Friday Night, but I'm excited to see if Not Like The Movies is similar to the infamous Chanel Black Pearl.
