Budget Buy- Madden Girl Trenquil

After seeing the I-Dreemy shoes Michele1218 mentioned on her youtube I happened to stumble upon a pair that looks almost IDENTICAL to the ones she got. But, my version are $70 cheaper.

Say hello to the Madden Girl Trenquil, which I paid $29.99 for at Marshalls.

They are a gorgeous light blush color with multi color reflective rhinestones

And the comparable Steve Madden I-Dreemy... $99.95 found here

I stopped in the Steve Madden store today to see the differences. Literally the only differences I could see were that my shoes have less "rhinestones" in the back & they don't have that back "lip". But $70 worth of differences? I think not. If you like what you see, head to your nearest Marshalls ASAP. They also had a silver & black version as well.

Giveaway: Viva Glam Cyndi Lipstick!

As soon as this lipstick came out I knew I had to have it. I even chose it over the almighty Viva Glam Gaga when they were both released together. As time went on people seem to have realized that this color was the one to have gotten your hands on.

*This swatch is from my own lipstick!

It's a beautiful, creamy, smooth, lustre color that goes well with virtually any skin tone.

Unfortunately this limited edition lipstick is no longer available.

Luckily for my blog readers, I ACTUALLY found some at my local CCO. There weren't many there- but I made sure I snatch an extra!

This is my first blog giveaway, so please bear with me!

You have 2 ways to enter, if you happen to do both, you will get two entries.

#1: Be a follower of my blog & leave a comment saying why you would want this beautiful lipstick.

#2: Retweet my giveaway on twitter!

I'll put everyones name into a fishbowl and pick out the winner! **Just make sure there is some way for me to contact you. This contest is for my US subscribers only. If all goes smoothly, my next will be open internationally.

This contest will end on Saturday, December 10th, 2012. Good luck!

Kate Spade Black Friday Haul

I recently came across a few Kate Spade pieces at my local TJMaxx. They were lime green which totally drew me to them, but my brother brought me back to reality and told me they didn't scream "winter" (keep in mind- I have an 18 year old college student brother).

Ever since then I had Kate Spade on my brain. While browsing the web after eating a huge Thanksgiving dinner, I decided to see what time our local Kate Spade outlet opened that night. I was also curious what the sale would be- so I searched "Kate Spade Black Friday sale" on google. I instantly found a blog post from 2010 that said Kate Spade offered 50% off the entire store on black friday. I was sold

At 9PM on Thanksgiving night I was on my way to the outlets.

As soon as I got into the store I picked up two lime green bags. I had my brother stand in line while I decided what I wanted. I had spotted a classic white bag as well and ended up asking the woman standing behind my brother which bag she liked the best. She told me the white bag was more timeless and everyday. She had a point.

$165

Classy on the outside, fun on the inside.

Since I couldn't get my lime green bag- I HAD to pick up this hot pink wallet.

$35

I thought that was it.... until I spotted this totally cute iPhone cover.

And that was it- my brother had my debit card in hand and was ready to check out.... he swiped, entered my pin, and then I spotted this beauty...

$60

Although it has a silver look to it, in the light it also could look taupe(y) goldish. Which is perfect for my silver or gold nights out on the town. The cashier had to ring this up separate but she was totally cool with it. I have to say, the staff at the Philadelphia Premium Outlets Kate Spade store were totally cool and really nice for having a bunch of crazy ladies running around their store on Thanksgiving night.

For my first Kate Spade purchase I was totally impressed. The prices BEAT the Coach outlet and I personally think Kate Spade is a step above Coach. What do you think?!

DV by Dolce Vita "Wink" Loafer

After Sandra, from 15 steps then a beauty blog, wrote a post about her DV by Dolce Vita "Wink" loafers I had to have them. She posted the picture below and thats when I fell in love.

She had posted a link and said they were on sale at Nordstrom ($52.00), so I instantly sent forwarded the link to my sister to pick them up for me for my birthday (it's tomorrow!). Luckily she waited till the LAST minute and they price dropped to $39.90!!! Seriously, if I were you I'd scoop them up ASAP! They are a great twist to the classic black flat. You can find them here

Kate Spade has awesome winter accessories. If I had room for an $85 hat in my budget, I'd be all over it. I definitely think I'll be picking up the Urban Outfitters cupcake/sundae gloves... how can you resist them?!

Vegas Haul

I just got back from an awesome trip to Las Vegas. I had never been there before, and I wasn't sure I'd like it, but boy was I wrong! Even if you aren't much of a gambler, there is so much else to do that it doesn't even matter. I gambled a total of $10 and I was content with that (for the record, I left Vegas up $27!)

Since I was there for a wedding weekend, I didn't have too much time to shop. There were two main stores that I HAD to stop at because I don't have any near me at home. Those two stores were Inglot and the MAC Pro store

I first stopped at Inglot. To me, they didn't have that many eyeshadows or unique nail polishes, so I just ended up picking up their gel eyeliner in #77 (black). I've heard that its lasting power is better than mac's fluidline gel liner so I figured I'd give it a try- I'll report back later with a review.

I ran over to the MAC Pro store and went right up to a makeup artist and asked her what I could get at the pro store that I couldn't get at home. She showed me all of these crazy colors that I couldn't see myself wearing and proceeded to inform her that I was looking for more of a subtle look. That's when she sold me on these...

(From left to right: MAC's Soot eyeshadow, Fleshpot lipstick, Costa Chic lipstick & NC15/NW20 Chromographic pencil)

MAC's Soot was probably the most normal eyeshadow color she showed me. After she swatched it I could tell that it would have great blending capabilities so I figured I'd give it a shot - Fleshpot is what she recommended to me after I told her that MAC's Myth makes me look like death -Costa Chic takes MAC's Jazzed to a whole new level - and the Chromographic pencil I was told would give me the best "concealer" look on my waterline. All of the these items can only be bought at MAC Pro stores or if you have a MAC Pro card online.

Overall I'm happy to have had the chance to pick these items up. Vegas was really an amazing time and I can't recommend visiting enough!

CCO Haul 9.11

I've heard really good things about the CCO in Reading, PA so I decided to take a different way home from my boyfriends and check it out. I definitely felt like there was a better selection at this CCO than some of the others I have been to.
Here is what I picked up...

MAC's Going Casual Creamsheen Glass, Estee Lauder/Michael Kors Very Hollywood lipgloss, Innocence, Beware!, Dalliance Mega Metal Shadow (Viva Glam Gaga not shown)

I'm seriously loving MAC's Innocence, Beware! I wasn't able to get my hands on it when the Venomous Villains collection came out and I was quite shocked to see it at the CCO. It is the perfect sheer, wearable nude. I decided to pick up MAC's Dalliance Mega Metal Shadow after swatching it on my hand and not being able to take make eyes off the metallic finish it has.

I will definitely be making more trips to this CCO in the future!

Old Navy Haul

Since Old Navy is having a 25% off sale today (online only with code ONBDAY25) I figured I'd pick up a few pieces I've been eyeing. This is what I got...

There was more that I wanted, but my wallet said "no, you're going to Vegas next month." Couldn't fight with that!

Deal Alert- Fossil Maddox Plated Stainless Steel Watch

After my Michael Kors Rose Gold watch debacle, I was left missing a little rose gold in my life. During my normal stroll around TJ Maxx's jewelry department I came across this gem.

Now before purchasing the Michael Kors version, I did consider the Fossil version because it was a whopping $150 cheaper. I looked a few times at my Fossil store and it always seemed to be sold out. Without getting to see it in person- I wasn't willing to purchase it.

Luckily for me, TJ Maxx came to the rescue and had it in the store ready for me to try on! I instantly knew we would be a perfect match. Instead of the normal $95 price tag, it was marked down to $49.99. I knew the rose gold would most likely slightly rub off (as the Michael Kors version did) and while it did end up happening after one day of use, I'm ok with it. Spending $49.99 on a watch with a little wear is a lot better than spending $250 on a watch with the wear.

In the end, I'm happy to have a little rose gold back in my life. As always, TJ Maxx jewelry counter stalking pays off!
